Town of Essex Election Day
The Town of Essex Municipal Election will take place on Monday, October 24, 2022. With election day upon us, the Town is encouraging all eligible electors to exercise their right to vote. Here is what you need to know to prepare for election day:
Voter Information
Voting will take place on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Please bring your Voter Notification Card and photo ID. Voters are required to vote at their designated location listed on their Voter Notification Card. If you do not have your voter notification card, please bring proof of residence and photo ID. On Election Day Voters must vote in the Ward they reside in or own property (if a non-resident).

*Please be advised, ONLY residents who currently reside at Harrowood and Iler Lodge are permitted to vote at these locations.
Election Results
The Unofficial 2022 Election Results for the Town of Essex will be livestreamed on the Town’s YouTube channel at approximately 9p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2022. Following the livestream, unofficial results will be posted the Town of Essex Election Website.
Official results will be certified by the Municipal Clerk and posted to www.elections.essex.ca on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
